Backend-first mode & data sharing

Setting an apb-serve Backend API URL + API Key turns on backend-first mode: this addon asks the backend first and, in strict mode, only shows backend-filtered results. To do that it shares anonymised catalog signals with that backend so matching, filtering and ranking can improve for everyone.

Shared: provider/source type (easynews / nzbdav), the release title (raw or normalised), parsed signals (year, quality, language, runtime, size, season/episode), and the match outcome (verified / needs-revalidation / unmatched) with reason codes.

Never shared: your Easynews username, password or API token; any playable or download URL; your IP address; or any other personal identifier.

All provider requests keep running from your own credentials on your own client. apb-serve only supplies better metadata, filtering, ranking and cache — it is not a content source and never proxies your streams. Leave the backend fields empty to run the addon exactly as before, with no backend dependency.
